OUR PHILOSOPHY
High-Quality Feed
The feed for our Black Hide Beef program is mostly non-GMO. Our beef are no longer 100% non-GMO because we have started including a protein pellet containing minerals and vitamins. This pellet is not considered non-GMO. The rest of the ingredients are grown on our farm and consists of non-GMO corn, and organic barley or organic oats may be added at times. Additionally, Non-GMO hay is fed free choice.
Antibiotics
Antibiotics will only be used if necessary in order to keep our cattle healthy. All withdrawal times will be met. Therefore, all beef sold will be free of antibiotics.
Steroid/Implant Free
Our crossbreeding program allows us to naturally increase muscle while remaining steroid free. We do not use implants that others may use to increase feed efficiency and improve weight gain.
